Summary: This was the perfect PSU for what I needed as it was quiet and reasonably priced. However, one of the SATA power cables was broken which meant that I only have access the 3 SATA power cables. Although this was still enough for what I need right now I didn't want a broken unit! Amazon were excellent and issued the refund the same day and I was able to ship the unit back to them for free using collect plus.
Summary: bought two of these and one worked fine which i bought for a client the second i bought for myself to replace a dead psu, turns out the second was dead when i finally got my system together i think i am out of refund period because it has been two months since i bought it.
Summary: slightly more expensive than a budget psu but....... you get what you pay for. came with many connectors both 4 pin and sata. i've had it running for couple of weeks now without issue. came with cable tidies and sheaths around the cables. also came with its own AC power cable which i was a bit worried about as i have had cheaper ones comes with none.
Summary: This is a well made product. I had difficulties with the motherboard connector initially (it has 8 pins, while my motherboard only has 4) until I learned that the connector splits into two (not mentioned in the documentation, though).
Summary: I just recieved this product and I was glad to see that all of its cables are sleaved, which can really come in hanby when cable managing or just making your cables look nicer. It also has the option to run 2 graphics cards if you wish, however I will not be doing this now (maybe in the future) as I am on a buget. All in all a great product for the price and I would recomend it.
Summary: I have looked at many shops online trying to find a relatively cheap PSU that wasn't as noisy as a train and I took the gamble with Zalman due to its years on the PC market. It was a good decision as I am really satisfied with it, for the money it coast is really silent when the PC isn't running at it maximum and completely acceptable (again considering the price) when the system is running demanding software or games.
Summary: As someone else already said, turned up without power lead and simply will not take a generic lead. Generally, poor quality, you may as well save your money and take a gamble on a budget brand, they are likely to be just as good, don't be fooled by the Zalman name, its not the usual standard, just cheap rubbish.
