Summary: So,what say you XFX? I know you guys make quality stuff and your customer service has always been top notch. So what's the deal? Is it the PSU in your opinion and if so,should i go ahead and start the RMA process? I'm kinda *expletive deleted* without a PSU for weeks though.
Pros: It looks great and kinda works for most of what i need it for. The price and rebate are freakin awesome too.
Cons: So,i have this thing attached to a MSI X99A SLI Plus with a 5820k,Corsair H105,XFX Radeon R9 390 ,6 hard drives (2 SSD),7 120mm fans and 16gb (4x4) Corsair Vengeance 2400. The problem is that when i put all the memory in (in quad channel config) the machine will boot but there's no video. When i ...
Summary: Try buying a different company's product. The customer service isn't really that enjoyable, the products are "meh", and the variability between the same products is too high for a cautious consumer to risk.
Pros: It's affordable. You won't lose your lunch over this product. It also covers any basic gamer gear, in regards to power.
Cons: It's pretty annoying with the cords spewing everywhere. I would have imagined that they would have fixed that issue before shipping it.
Summary: sometimes you dont allways know what you think you know!
Pros: this is a very nice powersupply. very clean and well done.
Cons: the insturctions are not so good. they are not very helpfull in assisting what some of the cable are for. the "help desk" from XFX is very very slow to respond. If at all. i do like xfx products. i think that the costomer service could use some help.
Pros: Nice looking psu, well made and very stout in overall feel and weight, very nice cable sleeves. Performance hmmmm not sure bout that yet still looking into why my 12v at times drop to 11.50ish volts, 5v drops to 4.7v and the 3.3v dropping to 3.288v when its just idling, at times under moderate lo...
Summary: Next time I will most likely go with a better known unit--was more than a bit worrysome that the unit could have started a fire in my system......the "new" unit seems to be working well so far.
Pros: Good power--quiet...the RMA process was very good.....
Cons: I had used this unit for slightly over a month when I heard a loud "pop" from it about 11PM one night---then sparks came out of it....Glad that I have my system on a hard surface & not on carpet......I installed my backup PSU & started the RMA process with XFX. They were on the ball & I had a Ref...
