Summary: I bought this for my Silverstone LC17 HTPC build. I used this to transfer all my data from my old PC and to have the ability to share files with family. Works great! Pros: Quality Finish Quality Material Single 12V Rail Fully Modular with black sleeved cables 5 year warranty Reasonable price Cool styling Quiet Lots of cables included Works great right out of the box!
Summary: I went this PSU for the modular, single rail and the 60 amp 12v rail. Overall the my PC is pretty quite, came with good quality cabling and was all black. I am running two GTX 760's with a 4770k.
Summary: High quality product. A quality PSU is something that often gets overlooked, but is really something that should be towards the top of the priority list when building a PC. Great quality cables too, all black, and not messy or cheaply sheathed. Nice clean look and quiet is a nice bonus. Two separate modes are awesome. Hybrid mode keeps the computer even quieter when its below a 30% load. Would strongly recommend this product.
Summary: I love this power supply, not a problem at all since i bought it. I replaced a bad one from Crossfire because they refused to replace it 3 months after i bought my computer so i replaced it myself with this and it works better than i imagined!
Summary: Reviewed and reviewed again some specific brands made by several manufacturers with a specific set of qualifications. This power supply met all of those and then some. Pricing was down near 600-650W pricing on sale so immediately pulled the trigger. Installed into existing computer that had a dedicated video card added that drew too much power for the existing 500 watt power supply that was in system. Powered on without a hitch and has been reliably running ever since.
Summary: Very satisfied with my purchase. I sent my MIR at the very last minute (the day before it was about to expire) and it was approved with no problems. The slight buzz doesn't really annoy me and I can't hear it unless I put my head extremely close to the PSU. I remember that XFX responded to coil whine/buzzing complaints on an NCIX competitor's website that the issue is covered under warranty, so I'm not too worried about getting the problem fixed if I ever feel like it...
Pros: Silent, Fan doesn't spin at low loads, Rebranded Seasonic, Tons of cables included, Looks slick (both the power supply AND the cables look nice)
Cons: VERY slight buzz. Can't hear it unless I put my head 10cm away from the PSU.
Summary: After 6 months of use, I have nothing to complain about with this psu. The price was excellent considering it's really made by seasonic. The wattage was probably overkill for my build. I'm not sure the fan ever turns on, and if it does, I definitely can't hear it over the case and cpu fans. I have never noticed it's there, which is exactly what I want in a psu.
