  • Summary: If you're inclined to do some splicing and/or soldering you can replace the fan; it is a standard 80x25mm case fan size. You will need a fan with an rpm sensor. I have done this with a fan with much much less airflow than the leafblower and I've had no issues.
  • Pros: Works fine as a UPS. I haven't scoped it so I can't speak to how true the sine wave output is.
  • Cons: This unit uses a high rpm fan that sounds like a leafblower. It is designed for a server closet or similar environment. You can't use this in the same room as your PC - it's too loud.
