The fan is half as loud as a hair dryer...

Summary: Seriously, I should have sent it back on the fan alone - it's horrible. I'm going to try and switch it out. I don't think it's fair to dock more than one egg for the fan. However, if you like a quiet office, forget about this one
Pros: Solid - it is what it is. No problems with several interventions - backs up my 3D printer and the job went uninterrupted after switching on to battery for several minutes - it ran my 3D printer, computer, and monitor...and saved my job from getting ruined and lots of time.
Cons: * Horrible for the office - fine for server rooms if noise isn't an issue *Software is campy
Summary: Rack mount unit is easily configured and works well with Windows 2008R2 UPS interface. Front panel controls are minimal but sufficient for use. Have ridden through numerous voltage flicker events without issue where our previous interactive type UPS units have had miserable performance.
Summary: This product has been a solid performer at remote transmitter sites where I need to protect sensitive electronics. Modern FM transmitters are essentially a computer that controls the RF section. We have not had one problem with these units. The web card access option is an essential feature.
These things perform, and the cost is very reasonable

Summary: I have been deploying these units in various sizes for over 3 years now, especially in sites that have emergency generator power. If you have an emergency generator, these units will ensure that your expensive equipment gets very clean power even if the generator is not putting out the cleanest...
Pros: I've purchased three of these for our servers in our office. Two a little over a year ago, and then a third a couple weeks ago. They have given me consistant & reliable power, and I do not hesitate to recommend this model to others. The one time I had a question about the product (was in referenc...
Cons: Wish shipping were cheaper? Wish the rackmount installation instructions were a little better? Wish they had a digital display? Nothing wrong with these worth knocking an egg off over.
Summary: This UPS is used to power a phone closet with PBX and other communications gear. During storms or brownouts we no longer experience vague issues with our communications gear. This has definitely reduced the number of calls to our Help Desk.
Summary: The company I work for has had several of these at remote locations for about two years. They have been reliable, so I got one for myself. The fan runs all the time, so it wouldn't work in a sound sensitive situation.
Pros: We bought 6 of these about a month ago for the servers in our new office. Four of them have been working very well.
Cons: The other two were DOA. I'm waiting on RMA numbers from Tripp Lite right now. (Tripp Lite includes labels with these units that say NOT to return them to the place of purchase, but rather to contact the manufacturer directly in case of problems.)
