Works as advertised!

Byron M., Newegg
20 October 2013
  • Pros: For four years this UPS has protected my computer, monitor, cable model, wireless router, network switch, VOIP adapter and cordless phone base. It has worked flawlessly through multiple power bumps and provides plenty of time to finish up my work, shut down my computer and keep the wireless LAN a...
  • Cons: 1) I know of no way to silence the beeping when it's running on battery power. 2) The ECO plugs power down for a few seconds every time my laser printer activates (the printer is not plugged in to the UPS but is on the same circuit as the UPS).

Terrible Product

Matthew L., Newegg
23 May 2012
  • Pros: Eco concept is a nice idea.
  • Cons: I have had this unit for almost 2 months, in that time it has shut completely off multiple times and caused me to loose valuable files at the office. I contacted the manufacturer and after multiple emails and tedious explanations they preceded to tell me that I was overloading the box and they wo...

Nice UPS!

The Voice, Staples
17 January 2012
  • Excerpt: Great software management. Easy set-up. Love the "GREEN" feature of managing the power to peripherals. Using it on a PC with a monitor, printer, scanner, powered speakers. When the PC is powered off the peripherals are turned off. Has saved the PC and files on several power hits and short outages.
  • Pros: Adequate Power, Easy To Set Up, Quiet Operation, Reliable Performance

DO NOT BUY!! Fire Hazard!!

Anonymous, Newegg
27 April 2011
  • Summary: Should have spent a few extra dollars for an APS!
  • Pros: Worked well for about 1 month
  • Cons: After one month, it constantly shuts itself off. The software reports the battery is over heating. It only has 1 pc and a monitor plugged into it. As an experiment I reset it and didn't plug anything into it. Within a day it shut itself off saying the battery is over heating. There is always a st...

poor quality

CFO Goochland Free Clinic, Staples
9 February 2011
  • Excerpt: We have several of these in our office, and after less than six months' use, the back-up outlets in five of them quit. The surge outlets still work, but the back-up ones don't, which makes them completely useless for PCs.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Quiet Operation
  • Cons: Short Life

It works, but only just

Glenn M., Newegg
16 March 2010
  • Summary: It worked fine for 3 weeks. Seemingly randomly, it killed power, and the overload light came on with intermittent beeping. Thought I had fried something...After research, I found out that this was likely due to a self-test that determined that the battery was underrated for my system.
  • Pros: It performs as rated, though rating is low. Price is right
  • Cons: Cryptic interface, only one button and the same light is used for overload condition & battery capacity. Low battery rating
