Pros: I bought this because it was cheap, and it was before it was rated at 80 Plus Bronze. It's powering my ASUS Sabertooth 2.0 motherboard, two sticks of DDR 3 memory, power hungry FX8350, four HDD's, two optical drives, and two GTX 760's. I've never had an issue with power loss or any hiccups. I hav...
Summary: good enough for budget builds. 700W is plenty for my build. I have used it for about 2 months and it performs as advertised but cable management can be an issue. No cable sleeves means you have to see the yellow and red cables colors.
Pros: Good power supply for the price. Enough Watts for most people.
Cons: Not the best for cable management because of lack of modular cables. I have to bundle all the excess cables together and they look ugly.
Summary: Over all its amazing. Comes with the ability to run sli/crossfire gpus, and the cables are designed so you only need 1 pigtail running to a gpu or other device that requires 2, 6 pin or 8 pin connectors.
Pros: Amazing 700watt psu, plenty of cables for sli/crossfire, cables long enough to cleanly route through a mid size tower, all cables are hard-wired, consistent, quiet, overall great
Cons: All the cables are hard-wired. Yes it's in the pros too, and while over all it is a food thing, less connectors, mean less room for corrosion and voltage drops and what not. But with all the cables hard-wired in, you will be left with several cables that just kinda hangout... And now, you have to...
Summary: Would recommend because of a 5 year warranty Bought similar PSU 1 year ago, it died and the company WOULD NOT replace or repair it since it caught fire DUE to bad capacitors in the unit, This one was inspected and has HIGH quality parts unlike others i have owned and installed in customers...
Pros: Its a good PSU so far no power shorts. 500Watt graphics card runs flawless with no bumps or surges due to power limitation.
Summary: not a bad psu for someone who needs alot of power but def. better options out there. for cheaper
Pros: - works after almost a year no issue - ran 2 differnt 6990s (sold for cash and bought cheaper , the gpu cycle), hd 6950, and now a gtx 950 perfect - good reliable power still even with many cases of a breaker popping off and force shut downs happening (not due to the computer or psu a loose wire ...
Cons: - cpu power cable is short real short. my case does not have cable management holes near the top of the mobo therefore i have to run the cord across and straight to it. it doesn't hurt anything but aesthetics but bothers me a little( wont be a problem with a better cable managed case ) -non sleev...
Summary: I bought all my parts for a new gaming rig on newegg and a few of the parts had mail in rebates... I followed all the instructions for all rebates carefully and sent in all the proof every company asked for. Waited about 2 months and get all my rebate checks, EXCEPT Thermaltake's.
Pros: good stable power for my gaming pc
Cons: thermaltake robs me of my 15$ mail in rebate why? ...they lied... Never buying Thermaltake again, just on principal
Summary: I am very happy with this purchase. I am not sure how long it will last but so far I would recommend this to anyone.
Pros: Works great, is quiet, and powerful. Looks good. Seems like good quality. Has more power connections than you will need.
Cons: There are many power connections and they cannot be unplugged or easily hidden because they are bright reds and oranges. It looks a little strange, but at least you know you will never run out of power connections.
