Good power for a great price.

Summary: I upgraded the video card in my computer from a Nvidia GTX 650-Ti to a Radeon R9-270X and it requires (2) 6 pin PCIe power connectors. Since it required more power, I figured it was time to upgrade my PSU too. Sapphire recommends a minimum of a 500W and my 600W was a few years old and of a slightly cheaper build. I like the fact that this PSU has (4) 6+2 pin PCIe connectors and has enough wattage to handle crossfire, if I decide to go that route.

Summary: This product works great I ungraded my computer with a new mother board, hard drives and a new power supply. My computer is up and running well. This power supply has more watches than my other supply. I changed to this supply just because I was making additional changes to the computer. I would recommend this power supply it has performed well and it has its own cooling fan as well.
Summary: This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI CrossFire Active PFC Power Supply Pros: Cheap, got a rebate, still working. Cons: Burning smell every time I use it. No, nothing is actually on fire. This is that 'hot electronics' smell, and its actually more than a bit bothersome. Is it failing? Other Thoughts: I always assumed the smell would go away with use, but it hasn't yet (8 months).
but that's a good thing as it helps future proof my set up

Summary: Use this in my current rig and it has more than enough juice for everything I've got. Also has many more connectors than I use, but that's a good thing as it helps future proof my set up. Very quiet, stays cool, excellent PSU!
Summary: Great PSU for the money. I've been running Thermaltake PSU's for over 6 years. I bought a 430 watt Thermaltake back in 2008 and it still works. I have a 500 watt Thermaltake that is still running 3 years later. Yeah it is not a modular power supply and not gold rated but for the money it's a good PSU. Ultra PSU's are junk and Corsair has had a lot of problems with their supposed "gold" rated PSU's. Would recommend. Running this with a GTX 780 SC video card.
