Summary: Bought the TR2-430 from the company on September 2 of 2014. Worked fine, for about 9 months. No problem, I thought! 5 year warranty! So I logged on to the Thermaltake site and tried to contact them. Dead silence. Been almost a week now, and still nothing.
Summary: Fit, form & function just fine. The snake skin wire management looks nice, kept things bundled up nice and tight. Too tight. HDD and SSD cables much too stiff. I had to razor knife the snake skin and heat shrink off parts of two cable to make them flexible enough. Now I sit back and enjoy.
Summary: An excellent replacement for my dead Power Supply. Fit perfectly in my Inspiron tower. Plenty of connection options and the cable lengths wer spot on for my application. But, the ultimate is what you don't hear. This nit is very quiet. I can actually now hear the fan on the processor heat-sink.
Summary: Dead on Arrival. But others seem to be happy with it so I imagine that what happened to me was a fluke. I replaced the power supply with a different one, but I would buy it again for a budget build if the price was right.
Summary: I have purchased several of these within the past year for replacements of customer power supplies and new builds. The cables are long enough to reach hard drives even in Dell Optiplex and Dimension cases. Noise level is acceptable and with a five year warranty it's hard to beat.
