Nice power and quiet.

  • Summary: This so far is the quietest 1200W PSU I have used. My one solitary complaint is that it isn't fully modular but the prewired cables are only the cables that you definitely need (24pin, etc.), none of the extra's.

Not so tough...

omgitssir, Amazon

  • Summary: Dead after I accidentally tripped the AC cable hooked up to the wall. For the money I paid, I would think that this "Toughpower" PSU would be tougher than that. I'm returning my dead unit and will be replacing it with a EVGA 1300W PSU. Before its death, it was powering 2x Radeon R9 290 video cards and it did fine in that regard. The cables seemed well made and the modular system made cable management easier. I hate returning stuff.. such a hassle.

Solid & Quiet performance

Zithic,, TigerDirect.com

  • Summary: I put this in a Thermaltake GT10 case, and hooked it up to an ASUS x99 with R9-280x, Intel 5930 and 16Gb Ram. In normal mode I can hardly hear the fan, first time I turned it on I had to double check to make sure the fan was running, I was anticipating a thermal shutdown for no fan or something, but no it was running well and quiet. LOTS of connectors for all those Hi-Power graphics cards, HDD, or what ever you want to throw at it.

Great Power Supply

JesseLerudLLC,, TigerDirect.com

  • Summary: Quality built and neat look to it. Runs solid and quietly. Very stable power output. Came in a very nice package. The only thing I didn't like is it has a very red stripe down the middle of it, I was building a custom painted blue case so it does stand out a fair bit, however a lot of cases out there come in black with red accents so it would fit in with the majority of what people are doing.

Awesome

  • Summary: Quiet, fits well, has plenty of expansion room if you want to run 4 way SLI. Silencing gaskets fit well. Cooling fans cannot be heard from the case. The modular power cables are constructed well.
