Not So Hot

Walmart
27 March 2010
  • Summary: This product is advertised as being able to power a laptop, but is not capable of doing so and produces an annoying beep. No instructions included. It will however charge my laptop battery when not in use so all is not lost. I have a 15" screen laptop. I recommend buying more powerful inverter if you want to actually use your laptop while on a long trip.

Bad connection

Asten R., Newegg
7 October 2009
  • Pros: None, really
  • Cons: This has a lousy cigarette lighter connector that weakens after a few uses, to the point where internal spring on the fuse in the end is enough to push the connector out of the power socket. I had to wedge my leg up against it on a plane to keep it in the socket.

  • Summary: Just trust me on this one, I have a Coleman one
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: 90W is not enough for most laptops to run - and $60 is ridiculous BigLots is your freind, they have good ones for 7 dollars (150W+) from good brands.

Does not supply advertised power; no docs

Robert F., Newegg
25 April 2009
  • Summary: Concur 100% with SanchezHacker; wouldn't power my laptop (even though it only wants 80w), no documentation anywhere to tell you what those beeps & lights mean. Do not expect this inverter to power your laptop.
  • Pros: Easy to use.
  • Cons: Does not provide advertised power; no useful documentation.

Its ok, but....

Jose S., Newegg
12 August 2006
  • Summary: Bought this at a local store thinking it had more than just 90 watts and it just barely powerd my laptop, don't even think about powering anything bigger. I will be returning this soon and geting a different inverter. For the same price you can get a different brand with more watts and better preformance.
  • Pros: It works as advertised.
  • Cons: It only has 90 watts which barely meets the min requirments for notebook computers. It would probably be ok for smaller electronics.
