Summary: I was surprised and impressed by both the quality of the construction and supporting documentation. It comes with a multi-page booklet dedicated to the electrical specifications. The manufacturer really seems to take pride in this product.
Summary: Used this in a mini itx freenas server build. It provides clean and stable power. It was one of the few ATX power supplies that was modular, short enough to fit into a Lian Li pcq 25 and had enough sata hard drives to power all the hard drives. The PSU has been running like a champ. Cool and quiet.
Summary: Wonderful item; steady power, quiet and even under load it keeps up pretty well. I have a system with an i5 K version, Asus motherboard, 3 SATA drive, one SSD, Nvidia GTX 770 OC and 3 case fan.

Summary: Would have given it 5 stars but I agree with some people that, for a 500 watt supply, the cable could have been shorter since it's touted that the PS is perfect for a Mini-ITX case. Uh, YEAH, if the cables were shorter since a Mini-ITX case is cramped to begin with.
Summary: SilverStone Strider Plus ST50F-P 500W power supply is great for a budget build, especially in a small case due to the PSU's small size. It is built well, is fully modular (really nice for smaller builds), has a quiet fan, and supplies good, clean power. There is one drawback though.
