Silverstone Strider ST60F Review

PlanetAMD64
12 August 2008
  • Conclusion: Despite a few hiccups with a Molex connector, Silverstone has not only made huge improvements to their manual but have also designed one of the most cost effective and efficient power supplies ever to grace a gaming rig. I had strong reservations about how well this model would fare in terms of noise pollution and heat dissipation; both as we have seen are strong points of this model.

SilverStone Strider ST60F Power Supply Review

PC Modding Malaysia
28 November 2005
  • Conclusion: When we reviewed SilverStones flagship NVIDIA SLI certified power supply, we were pretty much impressed with their Zeus ST65ZF power supply. Although I wished to use the ST65ZF for daily usage, I found myself difficult to live with it because of the noise. Luckily for me, the Strider ST60F came along at the right time when I was about to build my SLI rig.
  • Pros: Silent, Quad +12V rails, Modular cables, NVIDIA SLI certified, Lengthy cables with sleeving, Adjustable rails (+12V and +5V only), 3-year warranty for Europe customers
  • Cons: Modular connectors needs to be foolproof, Loose connectors, Heavy, Only 1-year warranty for Asia customers ,

SilverStone Strider ST60F 600W

InsaneTek
11 October 2005
  • Summary: Once again, SilverStone has proven that they indeed have what it takes to be a leading power supply provider.  Their first modular power supply comes with a beefy 600W rating.  The very core of the ST60F is the same as the award-winning ST65ZF!  Although I have tested various modular power supplies and have seen many great results, I have yet to make the plunge to power my system with a modular power supply.  The ST60F has certainly convinced me to make the move.
  • Pros: Great performance, Provides 42A total to quad 12v rails, Competitively priced for a 600W PSU, Plenty of power connectors, Good efficiency at 75.8%, Fully modular, Silent
  • Cons: Amps for 5v rail a bit low

SilverStone Strider ST60F

itrends.dk
7 June 2007
