Summary: well what can I say nothing really because it came DOA to me. So I called for a RMA number they told me it would take 32 to 78 hours to get one and it took over a week befor I got one so I am just getting my money back.
Summary: My one concern is the -12 rail. It is off. -12 runs -14 and some. So far no problems with that but what about in six months? For the price and the Plus rating I think it is a little short cause of that. Also no power off button, that is controled by computer. Otherwise it is a clean and nice unit with ample power to run my dual GeForce GTX 560 TIs.
Summary: I used this PSU to build a new gaming PC. I'm running two 6870s and overclocking a i7 950 to 4.0GHz. 1000W is probably a little overkill, but I wanted to make sure I had plenty of headroom. The modular nature of the power supply is great as it makes building a clean case with good cable routing a lot easier. Overall this PSU has been great.
Summary: I am a technically proficient computer geek who has nothing to complain about with this purchase!!! Not only was this company cheap, easy to purchase from, and fast with shipping, but the product was also amazing! I have been running it now for about 3 weeks and the thing is working amazingly! It has support for hundreds of different devices and is running cool and quiet! :D Very happy with this purchase and product, plus this company too!
Summary: This power supply is great, 1000W for 173$ is really hard to beat and well above all my expectations. No security sticker on box so was kind of scared to plug it in but glad I did Has dual EPS12V connectors great for all popular EVGA boards out there. Good clean power and rated at 80+ Silver.
Pros: Good cable package, Good lenght on the cables easily does E-ATX cases from bottom mount position, quiet 135mm fan, ample power for tri-SLI rigs, great price for single rail design, works as advertised, dual EPS12V connectors for EVGA p55 and x58 series,
Cons: No power switch but this is really minor as I never use it anyways, no security sticker on the retail box,
Summary: You can't go wrong with this thing. I used this on my current build, and I'll be using it on the build after that as well. It's simply awesome.
Pros: .This thing is a Monster. It's pretty safe to say that there is no configuration (SLi or otherwise) that could approach the maximum output of this beast of a power supply., 2. It's Modular. This is a big fat giant PLUS. It makes cable management FAR easier, for the simple reason that you can include only the ones that you need for the build. Then you just add the others as needed. Don't believe the outright lies put out by those pukes at "PC power and Cooling", modula...
Cons: 1. The price. When I bought this, it was something like $320 shipped. Now I know this is a 1000 watt unit, and that ain't going to come cheap. But I would certainly love to see the price on some of these top end units come down some., 2. What other cons? There are none.
