Silverstone Strider ST1000-P 1000W Power Supply Video Review
2 October 2010
Summary: The Strider Plus series of power supplies are currently available in 3 wattages; 750, 850 & 1000. The 1000W model sports a black paint finish, ultra quite 135mm fan, 100% modular leads, it's 80+ Silver Certified, has Japanese capacitors and will fit in just about any case. This power supply is clearly in a class of it's own!
Excerpt: In the months since the 80 Plus people decided to add multiple levels to their efficiency certification program, power supply companies have responded by making their offerings more and more efficient to take advantage of the new Bronze, Silver, and Gold categories. One of these companies is Silverstone Technology. Today, we'll be looking at the brand new Strider Plus platform, an updated and more efficient version of their older Strider series.
Excerpt: In today's review we will be looking at as the title suggests Silverstone’s Strider 1000W Plus modular PSU, the strider series has already proven itself to us with some solid rails as well as a decent modular system over the years Now with demands for more power from end users the latest incarnation of the Strider (ST-1000-P) will suit most needs and from my experience with the previous Strider 1000w model (ST-1000W) This has a lot to live up to.
Pros: Very Quiet, Plenty of connectors, Modular, Good build quality, Does exactly what it says on the Tin, Very low variation on the rails., 80% silver Efficiency
Excerpt: Voedingen testen we bij Hardware.Info bijna continu.
