Summary: It hasn't melted my motherboard. It hasn't made irritating noises (its actually very quiet). It hasn't had any connections break apart. I'm not knowledgeable enough about PSUs to give a really good breakdown of the benefit here, but based on the three categories above it outperforms my previous PSU.
Summary: Okay, I just put this thing in last week, so I have to idea how long it will last, but I'm hoping that it will last a long time since its supposed to be made with high quality components. The installation went well, everything fit correctly, the plugs were all right, and my computer now works perfect once again. The fan seems much quieter from whatever was in there previously, so I'm very happy about that. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.
Summary: This is everything I would want in a power supply. Just plug it in and watch it quietly go about it's job. No issues here and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a power supply about this size.
Summary: I went through three Antec 520 High Current Gamer PSU's before I was sick of dealing with it and decided to go with the number one name in power, Seasonic. This unit has gone above and beyond my expectations. I am using it in a Micro ATX build with only one GPU and now optical disk drives, so it offers the perfect amount of juice for my needs.
Summary: Seasonic makes some of the best power supplies out there. You may have to pay a little more for their units but it is definitely worth it as it will give you reliable power across your connectors and do it efficiently. Highly recommend these units if you care about reliability and performance.
Summary: I have three of these power supplies and I love them. Super-quiet and reliable. Solid five-stars until Intel released their latest processors for 2013. So I ordered another one for my latest build. The processor is an Intel i7-4770 (released in 2013, codename Haswell). What I didn't realize that it is not compatible with Haswell's low-power state that reduces power need to 0.05 watts. The work-around is to disable the low-power C6/C7 state in the BIOS. Minus one star.
Quiet operation, quality construction. Could use one more SATA power cable for bigger cases.

Summary: I have a 5-6 year old dell dimension 9200 whose power supply stopped producing adequate voltage, and was in need of replacement. Thanks to its good ventilation, this unit runs quietly. It also didn't have any problem in Dell dimension 9200's non-standard PSU slot. So if you happened to have Dell Dimension 9xxx series, this PSU will work just fine, as long as you are not running powerful GPU card. My only caveat complaint was, I could've used one more SATA power cable.
