Summary: Heavy excellent quality PS. The cabling is sturdy and there is an abundance of modular cables. One of the better guarantees is included and the modular cables make for a clean install. Platinum 80 should save on power bills. Overall quality throughout. I highly recommend this unit. So far has performed without a hiccup.
Summary: SeaSonic Platinum PSUs are hands down the highest quality ATX power supplies money can buy. You definitely get what you pay for, and in the long run you'll be happy you spent a few extra dollars to have a high quality PSU that will last for years and run at peak efficiency.
Summary: I ordered the the Seasonic on recommendation from a friend 5 stars given for quality of performance, build and most importantly it provides a very stable power supply esp. for Motherboards. Easy installation/operation. Would highly recommend to anyone, esp. for a new build.
Summary: There is no other power supply I have ever seen or read about that is built like I would build one for myself. These are the quality of parts that I use when making equipment. With the exception of the fan, this thing will still be running when you pay the mortgage off. BTW, removable plate for replacing the fan 7-10 years down the road--making it nice and easy for it to go the next decade on the rest of the hardware!
Summary: This power supply replaced my old and dieing 850 ssi that i loved for so many years. It has not disappointed. I am a believer that you get what you pay for. This power supply is no exception! Buy it.
High Power - excellent connector options - quiet when not under load
1 March 2014
Summary: This is an excellent power supply - so far. It has many connector options - older peripherals may require power adapters Runs very quiet when not under load - nice When under load and fan kicks into high speed... still makes noise... pretty much unavoidable. Price/performance a plus.
Summary: I purchased this just to make sure I would never have any power-related issues with my new build. I am running a 4770K and an Asus GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II, and, as far as I can tell, this this power supply's fan hasn't ever turned on once. In other words, this thing is a beast.
