Great Price

Kevin W., Newegg
7 May 2012
  • Summary: The power cables are braided and nicely colored. So they will be thicker and take up more space. So make sure your have room inside your box. In all great item, if i had to. i'd buy again.
  • Pros: Got this as an add on item with a graphics card upgrade. Works fine despite other reviews. Also have a friend who purchased one before me. Even lights up nicely. What more could you want?
  • Cons: The socket for the plug is sort of thicker and sticks out a little. Nothing to drastic, but it prevented my power supply from fitting nicely into its position and locking in place. The screws hold it in fine. and if i need to, i could always bend out the small piece of metal that grinds against to fit it in. In all it's not enough to stop me from buying another one, or from telling people not to buy it. You may not have the problem i had.

  • Summary: My last PSU was failing, so I decided to get a Rosewill psu. I am happy with the purchase. Newegg Rocks! I've always had a great experience buying rosewill products and will continue to be a rosewill fan. Crazy fast shipping! Thank you NewEgg!!
  • Pros: Very nice PSU. Loving the dual fans, so my system is already running much cooler than before.
  • Cons: -It's not exactly 500w, it's more like 480 but I already knew that coming into the purchase.

Best PSU in it's class.

Darin H., Newegg
29 January 2009
  • Summary: Stone Temple Pilots and Scott Weiland rule the earth...
  • Pros: Looks amazing...black box with black sleeved cables that are striped yellow, they glow in the dark under black light. Blue led on both fans. The best feature besides the (2) 12v rails w/500 watts, is the length and quantity of the cables, they are plenty long to reach the lower bay drives and MB connections, especially if you have a full ATX size MB like my ECS A780GM-A I bought here at the egg. In fact, the colors on the board - black, yellow, orange match the PSU's ...
  • Cons: None...NEWEGG IS THE BEST E-COMMERCE SITE/SERVICE, PERIOD. Have only bought else where or local if I needed something right away and the egg was out of stock.

  • Summary: I was a bit scared to buy this power supply, with Rosewill being a new name to me, and the bad reviews, but I'm glad I did. It did exactly what I needed, and was a great value. I have since bought other Rosewill products, no disappointments.
  • Pros: *Lots and lots of connections.
  • Cons: *None, its worked from day one, fixed my stability issues and been trouble free since 05/20/07.

  • Summary: I love this PSU. 'Nuff said.

  • Cons: Not as quiet as most PSU's but it works fine and doesn't overpower the room with sound.

Not quite there

Kevin H., Newegg
4 April 2007
  • Summary: e4300 @ 3.3ghz 1.45v, ampx 2x1GB ddr6400 @917mhz 2.1v, asus p5b-e 1.01g, evga 8800gts 320mb 600/1000, 2x 7200 maxtor hdd, 1x optical drive, 6x fans, 4x cold cathodes
  • Pros: cheap for dual +12v rails, pretty looking, sleeved cables, plenty of connectors, decently lengthed cables.
  • Cons: starts making crackling sound when my system is at load. maybe build quality? maybe defective? maybe not made for my system? but i would think 500w with those amps are good enough for this system.
