Pros: I've had this psu installed back in 2013, and it still runs quiet, with no issues whatsoever. It looks pretty, and it works. Can't believe all the bad reviews on this product. "It melted the cables." "Burned out after overclocking." "Didn't work because I took a hammer to it to get it into my com...
Cons: The only complaint I would have is the wires are a little stiff, but that's pretty much a good thing. Need that insulation to protect both your computer, and the psu.
Summary: I have had this PSU for 7 years, and had no problem out of it what so ever. The light is still going strong and have had no unusual noise. If you are replacing a PSU in a small system, or an older one, this thing is great. Don't think it would be as good in a newer build though.
Pros: All the connections you will need for a basic build
Summary: If you have A/C or are not operating this in a tiny room in summer and are on a budget, this seems to be a decent power supply for the money.
Pros: Inexpensive, has not given me any problems to date
Cons: I found that my compute tends to heat up a small room pretty effectively with this powersupply (or, at least, I assume it is the power supply that is the main culprit). But, from what I gather, this is the norm for budget power supplies). In the future, I may spring for a more power efficient one...
Pros: PS worked great powering my beefy system. System runs 24/7. No cooling issues.
Cons: After less than 20 months the 1400mm 3 pin fan has failed. can't easily find a replacement 3 pin fan because the signal wire is on a separate connector. PS still works with the 120mm fan I have zip tied to it for now.
Summary: I bought this power supply for a new build which I planned out very carefully. My power consumption is right around 425-430 watts total so this power supply should have more than enough wiggle room to run my build without problems. It worked for a while but it's dying now.
