  • Summary: Final Thoughts As I said in the overview section of this review the RX-1000AE does not really stand out of the crowd when it comes to power supplies. It is a primarily plain black unit with typical modular cables. So from an aesthetics standpoint this unit is much like the other “black boxes” out there. • Cons: – No frills design

  • Summary: Good power supply that delivers on its claims, and can be a very good buy if you're on a tight budget.
  • Pros: Sleek styling; Partly modular; Respectable accessory package; Solid overall performance; Excellent value
  • Cons: Noisy fan; 12V voltage regulation just okay; Cable lengths could be longer; Internals a bit messy
