Summary: Final Thoughts
As I said in the overview section of this review the RX-1000AE does not really stand out of the crowd when it comes to power supplies. It is a primarily plain black unit with typical modular cables. So from an aesthetics standpoint this unit is much like the other “black boxes” out there. The white fan gives it a little uniqueness, but if you are installing this unit in a current tower you really are not going to see the fan anyways.

Summary: The Raidmax RX-1000AE is the first power supply under the

Summary: Raidmax touts its new RX-1000AE as being a PSU that is "environmentally friendly." Given the fact that it boasts an 80 Plus Gold Certified rating, it is poised to supply us with some of the best efficiency levels we have ever seen out of PSU, much less one that hits the 1 kilowatt mark.
