Pros: This thing comes with an awesome pouch to hold all the extra plugs, its efficient, runs incredibly cool, and its powerful and its silent. It isn't overwhelmingly large and fits nicely the way it should.
Cons: some of the plugs don't easily fit through the grommeted holes on the Fractal Define R5 and took some force and finesse.
Summary: I also bought a tower from these guys and that too was very impressive, these Fractal guys are my new favorite company.
Pros: Top quality power supply. Reducing noise pollution in my office is very important to me and this PS is silent so far (but I haven't given it the test of time yet) and it's the highest quality PS I've used so far. It's modular and allows you to easily connect new cables to it to suit your needs, t...
Summary: No issue with this one. Took about 15 minutes to open up my case, remove the old one, put in the new one, and hook up all the cables ALL WHILE EATING A PEANUT BUTTER AND HONEY SANDWICH IN MY OTHER HAND. NO LIE.
Summary: I never heard about Fractal's stuff until Tek Syndicate did a few videos on their stuff. Really good stuff. As far as ordering things from anything online, there are risks. What I like to do is pop out my cell phone and just record the initial opening of the thing so I never have to worry about...
Pros: - Cables and Accessories that came with it. The roll up pouch thing works a lot better than the messy one that came with the Corsair HX750. - Long cables for bottom mount (I had a Corsair 300R and Fractal Design Define R4 which both are "ATX Mid Towers" and the cords with the Corsair HX750 could ...
Cons: - Ships from USA to Canada (if you're in Canada), so it takes a bit longer and costs more for things like express shipping.
Summary: It's a great company. Everything they make is solid. This PSU was no exception. i was pulling over 800 watts on a gold PSU and switch to this one. It dropped down to 714- 720. I would buy one again if the need was there.
Pros: Super efficient Lots of power Modular USA based tech support
Cons: Not enough peripheral molex connectors for my rig. Had to cut a SATA one and make my own for 2 extra 4 pin connectors
Summary: I always believed Corsair was nothing else than a name while other companies like Fractal Design and EVGA are producing power supplies cheaper and better. This PS is the perfect example. a similar product with a Corsair sticker will cost you 250$.
Pros: -Price (200$ on sale), -80plus Platinum, -Able to power two 290x OC with a lot of components (3 HDD + 8 fans + a fan controller), -Design by a case maker (cable are the right length), -White
Summary: I'm going for a quiet PC setup and this PSU works so perfectly in my Fractal Design Define Mini Case. It is many times quieter than my previous name-brand 600W PSU that this replaced. The fan on my previous name-brand PSU was louder than all my case fans and CPU fan combined.
Pros: I purchased this PSU via Tiger Direct, rather than here, because they only had white. I had previously ordered the 800w from Newegg, also excellent. Before I had purchased this PSU I DID see this other 1 star review here. That's horrible that the guy lost his system AND that the first review for ...
Pros: Wow... when you read the reviews of most of these Fractal Design PSUs, you think, "what's the big deal, how come they have more 5 stars generally over the other companies?" Then you get one. Silent, good looking, well made. I got the 800w model which suddenly disappeared here. It was on the same ...
