Held up my build for weeks

Summary: The color of this supply is PURE white - no hint of ivory or off-white so it may not match your case exactly (unless you buy Fractal Design, I'm guessing).
Pros: Beautiful design, and seemingly solid construction. Very compact and will fight in tight spaces.
Cons: My system was shutting down within 2 seconds of being powered on. The PSU was so pretty (and expensive) that I didn't suspect it initially. When I DID begin to suspect it, a multimeter test on all hot pins showed normal voltages. I checked and re-checked for any grounding conditions that might be...
Summary: The process of building a computer from parts ordered online is a learning experience that can be most appreciated by someone who has time to spend on the trivial pursuit of computer knowledge and a working computer to use during the progression.
Pros: No complaints on the operation when it is working. Arching occurred from the first power up.
Cons: Arching occurs at point of AC cord insertion when pressure is applied to seat cord. Fear total failure. Return authorization requires payment of shipping cost ($20+) and with no power supply to replace this unit I would be stuck with $1200 worth of parts and no computer so keeping for now. Cannot...
Pros: ...well if it had worked there may have been some.
Cons: It was DOA and had the warranty sticker torn when it arrived. Newegg wouldn't warranty it or the cpu it cooked when it was installed. RMA was rejected due to the sticker and even though I spend a fair amount of money on new egg. They would do nothing for me. I am no longer as loyal to newegg as I...
Summary: Probably nothing wrong with the product itself. Not used it yet. However.... I was sent a EU edition.. Meaning the power cord is EU and not UK. Pretty stupid considering I live in UK... On the product info it says nothing about EU power cord Edition. So for this it gets a 1 star.
