  • Summary: Be careful if you plan on hooking up a graphics card with dual power connectors. This PSU will not power that due to lack of connectors. I had to return mine as I bought and didn't even think to check for that on a 500W power supply. I have a lower rated Seasonic that has 2 connectors on it. Shame Fractal.
  • Pros: Quiet, quality construction
  • Cons: -Only single PCI

  • Summary: Very good power supply, purchased 5 on sale at 39.99 (ill never see that price again) all 5 of them work flawlessly silent, no coil whine.
  • Pros: Normal form factor, 80 plus bronze, all black, silent fan, long cables.
  • Cons: sometimes when building very basic systems long cables are simply in the way

  • Summary: This unit has been great so far. The +12V rail hardly drops below 12V under heavy load--even with a power-hungry GTX 560 in the system. It looks good and it's nice and quiet!
  • Pros: -Looks great!, -Solid, quality casing, -Good voltage regulation, -Quiet
  • Cons: -Only 1 pci-e power connector, -cheaper 500W 80+ bronze PSUs can be found at this price

This decision was made even easier bas FD PSUs have an excellent specification and reputation

  • Summary: When I build a PC I try to head-off problems before they arise, one of the simplest tricks is to buy a PSU which is guaranteed to fit well in your new case, hence my new Fractal Design (FD) case deserved a Fractal Design PSU. This decision was made even easier by FD PSUs have an excellent specification and reputation, even their "budget" Integra range. I can confirm that this PSU fitted my FD ARC case perfectly runs both cool and quietly. Recommended.

Impressed with the quality

  • Summary: Paid more for a PSU than I planned with this, but a stable, quiet and cool power source can prevent a lot of hassle in the future. I have to say, I was impressed with the quality. The cables are nicely loomed together and there's plenty of connection options.

Good simple PSU

Eiffel, Amazon
1 June 2014
  • Summary: I bought this PSU to replace a Seasonic S12II-430, and am generally happy with it. The wire loom is not as complete as the one of my previous PSU, and the quality of the connectors is a bit lower, but it fits all my needs and still has some room for expansion and meets all my needs. The new PSU has no coil whine (which was an issue with the Seasonic), but its fan is more noisy.
