Decent PSU, but cheap noisy fan...

Mike Gunnar, Amazon
  • Summary: I recently upgraded my system's older, cheaper 700w PSU to this 850w model. The model is a bit on the bulky side, so I would not recommend it with cases that are tight on space. The biggest issue I am having with the unit so far is the fan.

A bit tight for larger cases

K, Amazon
  • Summary: It's runs quiet and works fine, my only gripe is that the cables were a bit short in my ATX mid tower. The 8-pin was a bit to short to run through the the cable management area .While attempting to run it under the board I found the end was not flexible enough to secure in the 8-pin socket.

Great PSU for my SLI

Antonio R., Newegg
  • Summary: I have a Fractal ARC XL Case and this thing fits but the cables are so thick so I don't mind but just keep in mind if you want your cable management neat, BE PREPARED!
  • Pros: I am running two GTX 560tis' SLI and they work like a charm, bought this when it was on sale and I dont regret it a bit. It comes with a 5 year warranty too like less than 100$ for this is pretty much it to me.

Loud

Mike Thomas, Amazon
15 June 2015
  • Summary: Pros; good value/great features for the price, seems well built, reasonable RMA/customer service. Cons; Loudest power supply I've heard in the last decade, over a dozen builds. Used in a 2 year old, quiet build(silent case, low noise fans, fanless GPU, etc) but it was replacing a fairly standard PSU,...

So far, so good!

bobbinator7, Amazon
12 June 2015
  • Summary: A few days in and she's running flawlessly. I'm definitely loving this PSU, the installation was a pleasure and it even looks and feels good. I will change/update this review as I go, but she seems solid so far! No complaints. PSU's, they either work or they don't.

Work like a charm

Raphael S., Newegg
10 June 2015
  • Summary: The packaging was more then sufficient. The swapping of my old PSU with this one was quick and easy. The cords are plenty long to accommodate a full tower. The fan is quite silent. The only thing that i would say is negative is how massive and heavy this PSU is.
  • Pros: - Ease of installation - Packaging - Noise level - Modular
  • Cons: - Weigth

Dead...

Benjamin P., Newegg
9 June 2015
  • Summary: I've had this PSU for about a month. It seemed to be working great to power my system. Yesterday, I went to install a Samsung Evo 128gb SSD, and the entire PSU decided to die. I did take proper static precautions and all that, and now my system won't even start (no fans spinning or MOBO LED) I used...
  • Pros: -High build quality -Primarily modular -Quiet
  • Cons: -Not fully modular -Died in ~1 month?
