Summary: I am not alone on this rebate problem, there are others too. The PSU actually worked very good in my system, without a problem. The low rate is because I lost my confidence in the brand.
Pros: Still working fine so far. Quite.
Cons: Not a trusted company. Sent out a total of 6 rebates all at the same addresses (different departments), 3 of them are saying that did not received the documentation. They asked me to send it again (which I did) and a week later they declined and said the reason is: "The rebate documentation was n...
Summary: I highly recommend this PSU, especially if you a PC gamer like me.
Pros: I bought this PSU becuase I wanted to upgraded my GPU to GTX 970 card. So far this PSU is fantastic. lets start with the pros. 750W power. Very silent had to put my hand by the fan to make sure it is going in my computer case becuase it is that quit. It is so far the quitest hardware in my PC cas...
Cons: None from me at the moment this PSU is doing great so far.
Pros: Handled two R9 280x in crossfire very well with room to overclock with an i5 4690 OC'd to 4.5ghz its a modular which was good for cable management
Cons: terrible customer support ,took them 3 days to respond to my email/ticket wanted to cancel the order but the product was already shipped by the time they responded ,Had to track down my package since i inputted my address wrong which was my fault
Pros: Had some reservations about upgrading, but received a super quality item. Exceeded my expectations. Easy to install. Like the semi-modular build. Plenty of cables. Neat looking which does give it a few points. Very large fan and quiet.
Cons: only one minor. The cables are so well built and protected they are a little bulky in a mid-sized case. However, they did squeeze in with an add of a very large Video Card.
Summary: I had to buy a new power supply quickly after my old one died. I wish that I had more time to find a better one.
Pros: Solid power supply. Great 10 year warranty. 80+ Gold. Completely modular.
Cons: This fan is very loud. There is a constant whirling sound that I can hear over all of my other fans. Even if my GPU and CPU are at full load I can still hear the power supply fan. Its a very distinct and annoying sound. I'm thinking about RMAing it but I feel like the next unit with come with the...
Summary: This PSU was just the right size for my barebones build, did a little homework before buying and pretty much using on line reviews and jonnyguru as a guideline choose this brand for the price and for the excellant test results that these EVGA SuperNOVAs tested out as.
Summary: Gets the job done but if you are wanting a silent one for about the same price get the Corsair RM650, its also 650w and alot more silent for only $10 more
Pros: It powers my pc.
Cons: Loud, Very, VERY Loud! NOT for silent pc builds or if your going to have it sitting next to you on your desk. Makes lots of weird electrical sounds and a LOT of coil wine! Point is.. if your def you will have no issues but don't buy other wise. I just ordered a Cosair RM650 and i will be returnin...
Summary: I JUST received the item today, I had read with the negative reviews that most defective units gave out within the first four months, and so I shall be continually updating this review to follow.
