Summary: I can excuse that one out of the two units I bought died in 6 months, but I can't excuse the poor customer service. You're better off purchasing a different brand.
Pros: Big beefy power supply.
Cons: Customer service is horrible. I have two of these. One blew out after 6 months and I've been trying to get a RMA for two months. It took them over a week to respond, asking for a receipt. I emailed them the receipt and haven't heard back for over a month. I then initiated a new RMA request and attached the receipt to the request. It took them a week to reply to this email, asking for my system specs. I emailed them the system specs a week ago and haven't heard back.
Summary: Look at the same people on this very list having reported very similar things happening to them. When you see a history of the same problem and it has not been resolved by production or design team then you know not to replace it with another unit of the same make and model... I will look for a new vendor and be sure to stay clear of these guys and to tell anyone who I speak with to do the same.
Pros: Nothing as my wings were clipped before I got a chance to see my PSU run.. It lasted 30 minutes before just going dead and not passing any power to the MB
Cons: I took a very long time researching the build of my computer. When I was finally finished it was going to be a monster. Here is my parts list.
Pros: Impressive packaging, I truly thought this was going to be a rock solid power supply from it's presentation, especially after looking at the high gauge power cable.
Cons: The PSU died today, randomly. It was working just fine daily. It was powering 3 290x's, which I balanced evenly across the power supply as per their instruction manual displaying the 12v rails. I'm still in the process of checking to see if it took anything else with it when it died. I truly hope that's not the case. This is my first Enermax product and it will most certainly be my last. Extremely unimpressed. Total waste of 400 of my hard earned dollars.
