Bought Another One

kenneth m., Newegg

  • Pros: I've been using this unit trouble free for a couple of years. Easy to install and configure the software to safely shut down your computer after a power outage. It also protects from surges, under voltage, over voltage, brownouts, spikes, line noise, etc... I'll be moving this current unit to my ...

Does what I need it to

Caelan B., Newegg
3 July 2014
  • Summary: Works fine for home use to keep PC and router active.
  • Pros: Works fine. Keeps my HTPC and TV powered up incase of power flickers so nothing fries. Lost power and saw no flicker on devices. Only will get about 8min battery life with both the PC and TV on but to be expected. Turn the tv off and it lasts over an hour.
  • Cons: No real complaints, keeps what I want powered up during brown outs. Obviously not a heavy duty or enterprise solution, but not a complaint here.

  • Summary: The best and most reliable little UPS that I've ever used.
  • Pros: I've had 8 of these for more than 6 years and all 8 of them are still working like they are new. I haven't had any battery issues with them (all still have original battery) even after more than 6 years. The utility software is easy to configure and has always worked without fail to gracefully sh...

  • Summary: sometimes you think your saving a couple of dollars and you're actually just throwing money away.
  • Pros: reasonably priced ?
  • Cons: I've been working with home theater equipment for over 20 years. I normally choose Tripp Lite for my AVR/UPS needs. However, recently I purchased a CyberPower model to save a couple of dollars. WOW !, that was a big mistake. The first time I had to rely on this unit to do it's job for the reason ...

  • Summary: sometimes you think your saving a couple of dollars and you're actually just throwing money away.
  • Pros: I really can't add any pros. I purchased this unit for specific use, and it failed miserably the very first time I needed it to function.

Worked well while it lasted

Lloyd K., Newegg

  • Summary: I've had this UPS since December 2011. It's been quitely doing its thing next to my server, network tuners a router and a couple of switches in the basement. A few weeks ago I hear this loud pitch alarm and the LCD shows 'overload' and everything is down.
  • Pros: Easy to install Protects hardware from sudden power loss Comes with software for power monitoring
  • Cons: Lasted only a little over a year
