I think I bought the wrong thing?

Jacob P., Newegg
18 June 2015
  • Summary: Like I said, I'm sure it's a great product, just make sure you get the right one.
  • Pros: It's got plenty of well-spaced outlets It's appropriately sturdy The plug that goes into your wall is slanted at a 45 so as not to cover up another outlet You'll never miss the warning klaxon...
  • Cons: Like I said in the title, I think I bought too small a unit - the 255W model (cheapest option, didn't realize what I needed). My rig has a 750W PSU and this thing went into panic mode any time I did ANYTHING remotely taxing. I never bothered with any of the software or the ECO mode because I am a...

DOA - have to pay to ship it back to Cyberpower!

Anonymous, Newegg
9 October 2014
  • Summary: I would not resell for cyberpower again.... bad RMA and bad shipping policy!
  • Pros: Small, multiple power ports to allow for multiple items to be plugged in
  • Cons: Dead On Arrival. Whats worse is that you have to pay to ship it back! Just does not make sense. I would not resell for cyberpower again.... bad RMA and bad shipping policy!

Good battery with Smart Features

Dominic J., Newegg
3 September 2014
  • Summary: If you are getting a UPS that will be used on a computer then I highly recommend buying one that has a connection to your computer with some management software because it makes all the difference and there really isn’t a price premium for it either.
  • Pros: The included management software is great • Monitors your current power usage in almost real-time (About every 10 seconds) • Can set the computer to turn off properly when the power goes out based on how much power is left on the UPS • Shows information about the charge level of the battery • You...
  • Cons: The software however great the features looks old and cheap, it looks like it was made for Windows XP. On my machine instead of shutting down automatically after my preset amount of time, it went into hibernation which was bothersome (Despite the program saying it would shut down). I fixed this b...

Respectable unit

Christopher M., Newegg
4 July 2014
  • Summary: More of an over sight on my part, bought something cheap and it really wasn't powerful enough to support my rig as soon as I would fire up a game the draw of the video card would cause the alarm to sound on the unit itself. Ended up using it as a really fat surge protector.
  • Pros: Good unit, well built, nice looking.
  • Cons: n/a

Excellent Product

Ellery P., Newegg
14 April 2014
  • Pros: The price for the UPS is right on! I used this on my Synology diskstation ds213j to allow for a graceful shutdown in case of power loss. It has 3 backup power plugins and 3 surge plugins. It is well built !
  • Cons: None

Does what it says

Jim m., Newegg
27 February 2014
  • Summary: Great little unit fore the price, although the ECO setting seems a little useless
  • Pros: I wanted something to keep things running when the power blips (router, modem, DirecTV box, etc, Sometimes the router and modem lose their settings when the power is yanked, and the DirecTV receiver takes 10-15 minutes to come back on if it loses power for even a second. So far so good on that. I...
  • Cons: The alarm is obnoxious (cheap-cheap speakers), but can be turned off using software.
