Summary: I have to say first and foremost. I have bought Corsair power supplies for years and this was the first issue of this sort. Installed mine... got it going for a full minute before it just shutdown and never came back. Plugged in my older 500w unit and that worked fine. Not sure if it is a one off or not. But the one I got cratered fast.
Summary: the cables which are covered with somewhat black net wasnt proper set so that the net was loose and the cables near PSU showd up.(minor but still lack of quality) and control now here it comes the whole PSU didnt worked out of the box, after connecting all as it should, the PC just didnt start up. i made few checks with pins if the fan would rotate without having it plugged into pc but again nothing.
Summary: The power supply looked really nice and ran ok. I had to return the unit to amazon because this unit would not work right with my motherboard. This power supply would cause the Asus P6t-se to lock up after a little while. To make sure it was the power supply and not something else, I started with a new hard drive. I could not even get windows to load. After testing the memory and video card, I changed the PS and all worked right.
Summary: Bought this PSU to build a system with an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2. When trying to install windows it freezes.... Google a bit and you will find that this psu is INCOMPATIBLE with that mobo for some strange reason.... Not only it freezes on installation but some forum posts state that IF you get windows running, it will freeze after a while or when entering games.
