Failed after 5 years and 2 months.

Anonymous, Newegg
5 January 2016
  • Summary: Purchase in 11/2010. Failure in 01/2016. In pristine condition, dust free. One week before failure HTPC started shutting down randomly. It did so a few times until I could not restart it again.
  • Pros: Worked well for 5 years and 2 months without stability issues.
  • Cons: Worked for 5 years and 2 months only.

  • Pros: Plenty of power for high end video cards.
  • Cons: Alot of extra connections to tie up and move out of the way that I didn't use. Disrupts the air from fans for cooling inside of pc. I thought it would of lasted longer.

Miss semi-key component

MR M., Newegg
30 December 2014
  • Pros: Comes with everything needed for inside the computer, works well and is silent (Which I find amazing, compared to my old machine which sounds like an huge plane)
  • Cons: It didn't come with a uk plug adapter which I was a little miffed at... When buying from Newegg Uk you'd think it would. It should either list that it doesn't come with one or include one, in my personal opinion.

Questionable

Dominic L., Newegg
15 October 2014
  • Summary: I plugged in the PSU with everything plugged in. It didn't work. I made sure the connections were secure. Then, I noticed a burning smell. So I think it is broken, and it probably broke my other items. Going to take it to a Computer store to get my stuff checked out.
  • Pros: Can't promise since I didn't get to use. 750w is pretty good for the price.
  • Cons: Burning Smells and not working.

Over rated bulkey cables! See Notes!

Steven L., Newegg
4 September 2014
  • Summary: Well, I had a very expensive Asus P8-Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 board that failed due to this power supply failing! I lost my Asus 6950 video card. motherboard and a stick of ram all fail do to a huge power spike from this power supply! It's still under warranty and will be sent out, but the damage was done!
  • Pros: Well it's a bronze certified supply that has lots of extra power and connection cables. When I purchased this Corsair still had a good reputation for the extra cost! It really seemed like a heavy solidly built power supply that would hold up. It sort of did but was costly at the end of it's life!
  • Cons: I think Corsair is living off of there name at this point! Not a modular supply until it's new version was released! The non-modular version that I own has way too many cables to tuck and hide! This power supply is far from bad but was very pricey at the time I purchased it and was not modular in...

good while it lasted

SAUMYA B., Newegg
27 July 2014
  • Pros: Got me through 6.5 years and two builds, low noise, enough power to get a core i5 and 560gtx going along with multiple HDD and ssds
  • Cons: Died, makes a large buzzing noise and system shutdown midboot. I don't know yet if it took the motherboard or ssd with it.

Not Impressed

Ryan Y., Newegg
3 April 2014
  • Summary: Not sure if I received a faulty PSU but I am doing a RMA on this device in replace for a new one. When I receive my new replacement, I will write another review to see if it was just the first one that I received.
  • Pros: Nice looking power supply, feels like a solid unit for the most part.
  • Cons: After doing some research I've come to find out that many clients are having noise and coil whine issues with newer PSU's by Corsair. These are the same issues that I am having with the Corsair TX750M. Don't like how every time I click my mouse, scroll or hover over items the power supply makes l...

Good but....

Stephen B., Newegg
19 March 2014
  • Summary: I know things go bad sometimes but man that was a short period. I still have an old 600w Ultra that works, not well but it still powers my computer.
  • Pros: Worked great, it powered two 8800GTX's no problem. Then I upgraded to a 500 Series card. Worked great until....
  • Cons: It burned out after 2 years of use. Couldn't find the receipt and had to bite the bullet on this one.
