  • Pros: None that I can think of
  • Cons: The thing crapped out of me in less than 2 years. In the process of getting a replacement via RMA

Failed after 5 years and 2 months.

Anonymous, Newegg
5 January 2016
  • Summary: Purchase in 11/2010. Failure in 01/2016. In pristine condition, dust free. One week before failure HTPC started shutting down randomly. It did so a few times until I could not restart it again.
  • Pros: Worked well for 5 years and 2 months without stability issues.
  • Cons: Worked for 5 years and 2 months only.

This thing is Fan Club material!

Paul Z., Newegg
31 December 2015
  • Summary: I'll check back in when it dies unless i do first...in which case I've kept the felt bag and left instructions to be buried with it.
  • Pros: I bought this 6 years ago for an old core2 duo build and later put this in my i5 2500k build, Its been running games and idle nearly 24/7 through multiple power outages and surges. Ive probably only been using half its potential but It's time to blow out the cobwebs in it - gonna try some serious...
  • Cons: It makes me feel old.

Amazing PSU! 7 years and still going strong!!

Tyler B., Newegg
26 December 2015
  • Summary: - Really crazy this thing is still kicking after so long. Feels like I can get a few more years out of it even now. Very impressed by this PSU and will probably only buy Corsair after having this.
  • Pros: - It will never die (jk). 7 years and this thing still runs perfect. - Very cool for a power supply. - Was overkill for my first rig, but I put the extra wattage to good use. Including my normal components I have 14 fans in my case. This thing supports them all. - Got it for a good price back then.
  • Cons: - Not modular, but not many were during its time.

7 Years and still going!

Wyatt L., Newegg
25 November 2015
  • Summary: I bought this PSU for my 2008 computer build (first build I did). The 750w was overkill for that build, but I wanted something that I could upgrade parts and not need to change out. It's been 7 years and it's still going strong.
  • Pros: - 7 years and still going strong (installed in 2008) - 750 watts - On/Off Switch
  • Cons: - Not modular, but wasn't going to big cable management anyways. - Nothing else

Great PSU

Anonymous, Newegg
15 November 2015
  • Summary: Its powering my Haswell-e rig fine so far with some mild overclocking.
  • Pros: Came looking almost brand new except for a few scratches on the corsair logo on the fan grill. All cables have high quality sleving, feels it wont tear easily. Tons and tons of sata and molex connections, plenty of PCI-e connections too. Make sure you have a place to hide all the excess. The moth...
  • Cons: No instruction manual included. A few unnecessary connections (floppy drive power). Only 1 year warranty.

6 years still going strong

JOHN M., Newegg
19 August 2015
  • Pros: After 6 years, still going strong. Tested all the voltages and they are still within tolerances.
  • Cons: It's not modular but back in 2009, modular power supplies were extremely rare.
