Summary: I have owned this product for over one year. The MAJOR feature- The fan only runs as to cool the device. It is variable speed. This makes the PS very quiet. I have had no issues since install. The Install is very simple. Would recommend for quality, reliability.
Summary: A power supply should just work. This has one has given me problem free operation for over three years. It is quiet. The cables were adequate for a everything I installed in my mid-tower atx case. All cables had mesh sleeving that makes for a very clean and neat installation.
Summary: I plugged this in and immiediatly paniced because the fan wasn't turning... Did some research and its normal...its that efficient. So don't panic if it isn't turning when you computer Is idle. I am pulling 1050w @ the wall with a killawatt with this beast and it doesn't hic-up. I did test to make sure it would shut of if overloaded, and it does. Keep in mind power @ the wall is not power being pushed out by the Powersupply, as the PSU uses power too.
Summary: This was a perfect fit for my budget build - didnt want overkill but wanted something that would last a few upgrades for video cards and whatnot. It hasn't failed me once and has been solid with my overclocked i7 950 and gtx 570 graphics card. Quiet. Getting ready to update to a gtx 770 and think it will handle it just fine...we'll see.
Summary: Does a really good job, it will be loud at first then quiets down. I believe that is normal because it is powering up. My old PC was also like that and contacted Corsair they said it's normal (I hope). I really like the PSU however the cables it came with might be too short for other mid-size tower. Mines barely reached, but since it reached it got a 5 star.
Summary: I ordered a gaming PC that was already put together from CyberPower, it actually fried after day #2, so I know how important the power supply is. Very easy to install and if you have any issues then you can find dozens of DIY tutorials.
