Summary: This is a great PSU. Very quiet and more than enough watts for my build. They only downside are the cables. They are very stiff and cable management is virtually impossible. My build is in a Thermaltake Chaser A31 case which has large window on the side which allows folks to peer inside. With the case lit up with six (6) Blue LED fans and a two Meter sleave of red LEDs, you want it to look neat. It does not, at least with the supplied cables.
Summary: I have two of these (RM850, RM1000) both purchased from Amazon. The PSUs work fine. They are quiet and have performed well and stably without any kind of coil whine. They also look good with a high-quality finish. From a performance perspective they deserve 5 stars as do all of the other Corsair PSUs (total of 5) that I have owned over the years.
Summary: It's been confirmed since last year that any RM series that's shipped out with a lot number below 1341 suffers ffrom a defect of the fan not spinning resulting in the OTP tripping. This hhas been confirmed by corsair rep themselves. If you DO have one of these models, judging from the thread they're still shipping out the older ones, either return it to Amazon and roll the dice again or contact corsair and they will send you a newer model with a prepaid shipping label!
Summary: I bought this PSU several months ago. It is extremely efficient and quiet. The first two months I owned this the fan never came on. Once the fan did come it it clicks rapidly and loudly. When I went to RMA this product with Corsair I wanted to do an Express RMA. This process puts a hold on my credit card and they ship out the product. Once I receive the product I would return the defective item. Zero down-time. But this option wasn't available.
Summary: I'm running 3 r-9 280X xfx lifetime warranty and this works perfectly, I'd highly recommended this 1000Watt PSU! 700kH per card 2.1MH using cgwatcher made by manotechnology look for cgwatcher on Reddit

Summary: Pro: Solid power supply. Doesn't heat the system up too much for the amount of power it supplies. I was expecting my system temp in my air cool rig on an OC'ed i7-4790k to be around 45 to 50C due to the power draw, but my system sits at a comfortable 38C on idle and 47C on gaming. Con: As posted by others, the connectors are a bit low quality construction. The 24 pin Mobo cable is supposed to "click" on showing a lock.
