Summary: This power supply is Amazing. It's semi modular so there are no unneeded cables, no guess work on where to plug them in since it is all on one rail, I cant believe how quite it is, and looks great. I use it to run 2 power hungry HD6960's and a overclocked i5 and it works amazing. If you need a great reliable power supply buy this one now!
Summary: Power supply lasted 10 minutes of use before powering off. Now the unit will only stay powered up for 1 minute Have returned it to manufacturer Poor quality and very disappointed for what is supposed to be a premium brand
Summary: I purchased the Corsair HX1000W and my PC came alive. It is much more quieter then my previous power supply. The response is a snap, fast response, and the other component respond better, it is as the system improved. This is the right answer to my power hungry system. I did not realized the right power supply makes such a big difference.
Pros: Easy To Install, Good Value, Highly Compatible, Quiet, Reliable

Summary: I've been running a custom built Core i7 920 CPU-equipped computer @ 4.2Ghz (4210Mhz) & 100% Load 24/7 since May, 2009 with a Corsair HX1000 PSU in control of the power needs of the system, and it's been working perfect all that time, never skipped a beat. It's certainly the finest, most powerful and dependable 1KW-rated (1000+Watt) power supply that good money can buy.
Summary: I chose the Corsair CMPSU-1000HX for one simple reason, it's reputation for quality and performance. When it comes to taking care of the parts inside my computer, I'm not a gambling man. I never implement unreasonably high overclocks and I put plenty of quality parts inside my machine. The CMPSU-1000HX's reputation preceeds itself, plain and simple. If you need plenty of clean/stable power Buy It.
Summary: I have been using this power supply for a bit over a month now and I have to say I am very satisfied. Just opening up the box you can tell that you have purchased a quality product that will really give you your moneys worth and then some. The first thing I noticed about this power supply was how quiet it was compared to my old one. I had been thinking it was the fans, or the pump motors, or something else on my computer making all the noise.
Summary: Have been using this PSU for about six months now. It is large, huge in fact compared to what I have been using, or used in the past. Purchased to replace a thermaltake 750. I was powering 2 4890's, 3 SATA drives and 2 optical drives. QX9650 @ 4.0. Yes I am still on the 775 platform. Can't help it it does what I need it to do, I7 this I5 that I3 what, Ipod Ipad I yi yi. Also ran my LC loop no problems. Single pump. No hiccups at all. You may not need this.
