Summary: okay to start of with i will say it does the job (well). but it does have pretty bad coil wine that also transfers into the audio on my pc which is really bad when played though my hifi system. im going to invest in a be quiet psu next as this one is really bad.
Summary: The PSU is pretty good! I love the changeable lights and the fans are usually off when the supply isnt under any substantial load. The only downside is that the PSU is very load when switched on.
Summary: PSU worked great for the first few months, done the job and wasn't too loud either. Then randomly it would turn off, no BSOD, nothing. Eventually it just died and did not work at all. I decided to do tests on the machine and each test I done proved it all broken, I also switched the PSU for another working one and the problem did not occur so I could be sure it was the PSU's fault.
Summary: Fitted perfectly good length on cables, Negative comment LED light only worked on fan side, As I fitted the fan side down it now lights up the floor, could have done with extra sata connections, overall positive, quite running, solid build, good name and trusted tech
Summary: great psu very stable runs my dx79si mobo with i7 3820 cpu and 32 gig g-skill ripjaw ram,2 x gtx 560 sli cards, corsair h80i,and corsair link 8 fans in total the gs 800 fan only kicks in when i am gaming just the job
Summary: I love corsair products, i've never had any problems with then thus far & this psu is no exception. Although i would have prefered modular ( that's a matter of preference ) but i assumed my case would have no problem with cable management, something to consider when buying a psu. The unit itself is typical corsair, weighty, solid, powerful & reliable & very quiet. Came well packaged. Never scrimp on a psu. I'll be getting another corsair for my new build.
Summary: no problems so far. tested with paperclip trick and lights up fine. incase any of u wanna try this, dont be worried if the fan spins then stops, this psu does that!!!! it means its on low power state. lights are pretty good. enough cables for most people: 1 atx (24pin cable) 1 cpu cable 4 pci-e 8 sata 8 peripheral cables 2 floppy adaptors at 100%,its fairly loud but many wont get to 100%. (N.B. if ur build is around 800watts, buy a higher wattage, e.g. 900-1000).
Summary: I bought this as a replacement to my awful powercolor and it has all the power in the world, I have over-clocked my graphics card to unimaginable levels as well as my processor and RAM and it delivers the power exceptionally and stability is never going to be an issue. It also comes with extra PCI plugs for the newer Nvidia 700 series and AMD 7900+ series, allowing for SLI/Crossfire.
