Summary: Very quiet most of the time until the fan kicks up to high speed when it is actually annoyingly noisy as it is right now. I'm not sure what triggers the higher fan speed since it seems to go into noisy high speed mode when the PC is just idling. I guess it must be a heat sensor somewhere but when it goes into high speed I just want to switch the darn thing off. So a disappointment as I got this unit for its supposed low noise. Perhaps I have a faulty unit?
Summary: Very good PSU. Bought this for a regular office PC in which the original supply was dead. This swapped straight out and gives options like an eight pin or four pin cpu power socket. The cable is well made but is quite thick. I installed it in a small PC case and it was a bit of a squeeze. Very very quiet in operation compared to the old PSU. Recommended but if you can stretch to the modular unit it would be even better.
Summary: Absolute winner. Quiet like you would not imagine. Power rails running epically close to defined voltages. I have it in a case where the PSU draws air from under the case. Believe it or not the PSU is venting cool air. Mine is about nine months old, so I am happy thinking it will last. How could I not recommend the CX series?
Summary: It's a pretty quiet PSU, I would recommend it for a short list of quietest PSUs, however there is a slight audible ticking sound for those wanting to build the quietest PC (and I've bought about twenty of this model of PSU so I know it's not a single fault). I've sent a couple back due to weird intermittent (obvious and irritating) PSU noises.
Summary: its good, but it does get kinda loud under pressure but that might be my fault i might have needs to go with a bigger psu for my build but the over all power management is good and the out put to the pc consonants is smooth and steady, and best part is it came with zip ties....i was so happy ...
