Michael M., Newegg

  • Pros: Nice stable supply from reputable company.
  • Cons: Started to squeal last year and has only gotten worse :( Too bad, I had great hopes for this unit. Gave it a star for number of years it lasted :)

Decent supply

Logan S., Newegg
10 August 2010
  • Summary: Decent Supply, would recommend to my friends. Came with a cool sticker for my case. That adds like 20mhz right there.
  • Pros: Decent powersupply. VERY long cables, I had to zip tie them up and tuck them in an empty drive bay.

Robert B., Newegg

  • Pros: Has performed well so far. No actual performance issues. Plug it in and it works.
  • Cons: The capacitors buzz/chirp when I move the mouse. Sounds crazy at first, but google it and you will see what I mean. Hopefully this will not impact performance down the road.

17 July 2010

  • Pros: Many connectors including those needed for newer motherboards, sleek, stylish.
  • Cons: PSU faulted about 1 and a half months into ownership, with only about 1 month of use. The problem began with the power button failing to turn on the computer occasionally unless pressed repeatedly. Eventually the power supply made a slight squealing noise even when unplugged. With the power switc...
