Summary: Today, 23rd of April 2014, the Item was fully functional until the computer powered down twice and then I was in shock as well as my family members to find that the computer was full of smoke and scared the heck of us all. Immediately unplugged the power adapter and the power supply kept releasing smoke. Unplugged all the cables from the computer and immediately took the computer outside of the house for safety.

Summary: Installation was straight forward. Been running for 5 days now with no problems. Very quiet. Corsair link works fine on windows 7. I have 2 MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Gaming OC 4GB Cards hooked up in SLI. Very happy so far. Will update if any problems arise.
Summary: I bought this power supply for a really high components. Spent over $2800 in parts. Hooked up eveything turn on the computer and blow the components. The whole room had smoke. Called corsair and did a damage claim. The guy i spoke to on the phone said it would only take 3 day turn around but after 2 weeks they just got back to me saying that after their testing they found out it was a damaged power supply.
Great PSU however, there is a slight clicking sound when the fan isn't spinning

Summary: This PSU runs with the fan off until it needs to turn on for heat reasons. When it's not running, there is a slight clicking that can be heard as the fan check to see if it needs to spin up. I can only hear the clicking if I have the PC on my desk next to me. If it's on the floor or away from me, it's silent.
Summary: Corsair has done a great job on the AX860i. The packaging was absolutely beautiful. The documentation was thorough. There were plenty of cables for all types of power connectors. I look forward to using Corsair in the future.
Quiet, efficient, and digital. Amazing power supply at a great price.

Summary: Excellent and efficient digital power supply. I had a AX760i and that was a great unit also but I went with SLI and wanted to make sure I right-sized my power demand and delivery. The Corsair Link software is useful for monitoring your consumption and efficiency. I am running a mildly overclocked 4770k, overclocked dual SLI 780 Ti Classified Duals, 8 fans, 6 SSD's and it hasn't skipped a beat.
Summary: This power supply is very quiet. The fan only run when it is hot. Probably the best power supply out there but does it worth $200? I dont see why this is so expensive. BTW, the price on amazon changed everyday.
Summary: The first PSU amazon sent me wouldn't start my computer. I have been building my own computer long enough to know it was a faulty PSU, which was the first time anything from Corsair wasn't up to snuff in my experience. I contacted Amazon and they overnight shipped a new PSU and it arrived the following morning. The second one worked like a charm.
Summary: Summary: Great PSU if it lasted. Less than 60 days of usage, the PSU is now dead with the self-test light being red every time the system is turned on. After going through troubleshooting steps to confirm that the PSU is totally dead, requested a replacement on Corsair site. Received a quick automatic reply to sent the PSU in to Corsair for replacement and that they will send the replacement 2-3 days after they received. Sent in to Corsair for replacement.
