Summary: Right off the bat: THERE ARE TWO EPS CABLES! YOU PROBABLY CONNECTED THE WRONG ONE! I'm going to start off by saying I have been building PCs for 15 years. I was a senior engineer at Dell, as well as having administrative positions in the IT dept of several multinational corporations. I am the IT director of a multi-million dollar finance company, and am also the acting IT Director of a small consumer technology start-up. This isn't my first rodeo.
Summary: Has more than enough juice to power my system and any future upgrades. Modular cables made organization a breeze. Only complaint would be the price as it is not a cheap power supply. However in this case you get what you pay for.
Summary: It works and looks great. However, I noticed when my processor clocks up, the psu has a high pitch hum or wine. I drives me nuts if the room is silent and all I can her is that wine...maybe its just this particular unit.
Summary: A very nice power supply. Modular design makes it a breeze to keep a tidy case. All the cables were excellent quality, all black colored, and only the 12v cable was a bit short. It reached, but with very little to spare using a Corsair 600T.
Pros: -looks nice, -quiet, -very easy to install and work with
Cons: -on the expensive side, -12v cable could be longer
Summary: I bought this PSU because I needed a little more wattage than my previous PSU could give. All is well so far. The install required me to remove a bracket in my case. My system is much more stable now. I have two HD5770 GPUs running in crossfire mode and a ZALMAN CPU cooler. The ANTEC 650 watt couldn't keep up. I've gone from 80plus to GOLD certified. More power with less energy consumption. A win win situation.
Summary: I love this PSU! Very efficient, quiet and strong. My model however does not know it is suppose to turn on and off, she just keeps the PC running unless you hit its power button on the rear panel. I shall fix this trouble, not to worry. Great unit still.
Pros: Easy installation, perfect fit, very quiet, strong, tons of cables.
Cons: Does not know it is suppose to turn on and off.
