Summary: Great for light overclocking. 1-2 gpu. I love overclocking and this thing takes it like a champ. Using a power meter and overclocking my 2 GPUs and my processor, I had this thing supplying a peak of 950W! I must say this is not advised if you do not know what you are doing. While my computer is idle (about 200w) my 12v rail sits at about 12.4volts. At full load(750w) it sits at about 12.05volts. These values are confirmed with a voltmeter(Fluke).
Summary: Installed this in my main PC. The older power supply was going bad, but the PC itselft was still a great machine. This PS makes the chassis really neat in that you only use the cables that you need.
Summary: Great power supply, love how it's completely modular. It's currently powering my 24 disk Unraid array.Damn good quality, comes in really great packaging and the cables included route really nicely in my Norco 4224
Summary: this unit is so efficient that the fan only turns on when it needs to. my case is so well cooled that I have yet to even see the fan come on at all! the fan grill is a bit flush from the unit, so mounting it upside down is a tight squeeze, and the dust filer (silverstone FF141B) doesn't site comfortably over it.
Summary: I don't run a lot crazy stuff on my computer. I just wanted this to be high-quality, quiet and stable. I use this with a AMD FX-8350 FX, Asus GTX 660 ti, Antec p280, Asus M5A99FX. It powers them fine. This thing is super quiet. Exactly what I expected.
Summary: I prefer to match certain parts with same brand names, like a Corsair case with a Corsair PU and Corsair CPU cooler, and the MB an Asus with 2 identical Asus video cards. It's a matter of compatibility. This awesome PU fits like a glove in the Corsair 600T. It's also very quiet. My system: Corsair 600T graphite series silver case Corsair AX750 80 Plus Gold Power unit Corsair H 100 Hydro CPU cooler Asus P8Z77 V-Pro Motherboard Asus GTX650 video card (2 of them) Asus 24X...
