Summary: Wish it had an multi-colored LED fan. Perfect, worth every cent. Corsair Link let's you view it's power usage real-time and over a given length of time. It is a pretty awesome feature. Individual rails for graphics cards, which is what I needed for my Dual SLI Gigabyte GTX 980's. I bought this to replace my RM1000 because it failed after a couple weeks running the Dual 980's.
Summary: ROCK solid power supply. I'm thrilled with it's operation and the fact that it almost never even kicks its fan on - probably because I'm not pushing it hard enough. But, its clean power, nice modular ports, solid construction and high efficiency are real winners. I really like the Corsair Link software that sees it (so long as you plug in the special (weird) USB cable that comes with it.
Summary: So I would call myself a Corsair fan boy seeing as I have so many Corsair things, BUT that doesn't mean I didn't do my research. I read the review of Johnyguru, a very scientific site and thorough site, and saw that it was actually a very good PSU. Very low voltage ripple and very efficient besides the fact about the Platinum labeling. It's also very quiet.
Summary: Got this at a great price(around 300 bucks). It was 369 at my local store.. This thing is a beast, its quite, got more power then anyhtign I will hook up needs. Only con I felt a lil ripped off they Give tool kits and sticks with the 850,s but this came with nothing but a sticker .
Summary: Excellent high quality power supply! Very nice! Modular cables are of very high quality and long enough to be routed nicely. Also plenty of the different types of power connectors! You most certainly get a high end digital power supply with monitoring capability. In this case, I'm glad I spent the extra money for this PSU!!
