Summary: I have had this power supply for 2 years now, it was an extremely good buy. Only thing I regret about buy it is it isn't a 80 plus certified psu. So I don't know whether I saved money or threw away money in terms of my electricity bill.
Summary: Can't say enough about this power supply. It worked right out of the box. Took about five minutes to connect it to everything. I have a custom built gamer's PC that I bought used and was constantly having to replace different parts on it since the power supply was too small to keep everything operating at its best. Put in this 600 watt and everything works great now. All 9 fans have enough power to run and keep everything inside the case cool.
Summary: it only has three 4-Pin Peripheral Connectors but otherwise, it works just fine for an average build. As long as you don't have too many different components then this is fine for you. The price is amazing and it's really quiet.
Summary: Outstanding power supply unit. After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase, but for the price I gave it a try. I do not hear the fan AT ALL, and it was a simple swap out and power up on first try. So easy an amateur can do it (just count your plugs first - would even recommend taking a picture). You cannot beat the value.
Summary: I had to replace my old 400 watt supply because of instability in the 5 volt supply, which, was causing the computer to shut down. The Coolmax supply has a very stable 5 volt suppy, but I'm seeing variation in both the +12 and 3.3 supplies. Apparently okay as my computer is running good again, and I haven't experienced any problems due to power. Yet. If the computer continues to run okay I'm satisfied.
