Summary: Ordered one for a third system I had to replace an old PS. When delivered, I installed it into the box and after checking all connections, turned on power switch and pressed start button. Nothing happened!. Rechecked all connections. Still nothing.I used a Thermaltake ATX power supply tester and found the one SATA power connection that was at the end of one set of connectors tested bad for 3.3 volts. Requested replacement PS from Amazon.
Summary: I have an Inspiron 530 that i wanted to upgrade the Graphics card for (to use for CAD and Gaming, etc.), but the issue was that the Power supply was at 350W and i did not want to risk frying my computer(Yes, that can happen if you dont have enough power). I had a budget of $210, and i got the Sapphire Radeon R7 260X(Which is an amazing GPU by the way, check it out). The graphics card was about $150 and i needed something that could fit in my budget.
Summary: This power supply fit in the case and is performing flawlessly. The power output is about double the original and is very quiet. The only minor drawback was that there were no predrilled holes to fit my Dell machine. Not a huge problem but you need to be careful around power supply to ensure no filings get into unit.
