Do NOT buy

JAMES K., Newegg
30 March 2015
  • Summary: I plan to replace this as soon as possible, before it explodes
  • Pros: It worked, kind of
  • Cons: Fried a hard drive when one of the sata cables broke. Now I only can have 2 hard drives..... only 4 sata cables?! That is ridiculous! The other reviews are right. This is not a 750w power supply. It is 500w. Look it up, you will be able to find it.

Unit does not perform as advertised

Ryan B., Newegg
28 November 2014
  • Pros: Unit can work fine if you have a lower end system, but I'm betting you're not buying a 750 watt power source if you have a lower end system.
  • Cons: Unit will not put out anywhere remotely close to 750 watts for very long. You might get an hour at most before the unit completely fails and your PC suddenly shuts off. Unit also lacks almost any safety features, so do not do anything at all while this is plugged in or you can fry your components...

KIlled itself after 3.5 years of service

Charles G., Newegg
27 November 2014
  • Summary: I'm thinking of buying a new one of the same brand. 3.5 years isn't a bad run.
  • Pros: Quiet and reliable for 3.5 years of constantly beating it to death in my overclocked gaming rig. Dual GPU high draw cards in it. On ALL the time.
  • Cons: Well after 3.5 years a coil dislodged from within the unit and fell into the fan while I was away. It melted the fan and locked it up.

loud but bright!

Daniel K., Newegg
19 March 2014
  • Summary: I've never had a power supply last less than 4 years. This was my first one. My wife made me turn my computer off at night because the fan was so loud, and it was downstairs across the house.
  • Pros: - Was great while it lasted - Had LED's that were quite bright.
  • Cons: - Expected to last longer than two years - Loud - not enough cables for me

Fire sale

Ryan N., Newegg
10 January 2014
  • Pros: Worked for a while
  • Cons: After owning this psu for over a year it started destroying my pc, it took out one of my ram, my cd/DVD burner drive completely melted, and hard drive caught on fire I opened case and blew it out to salvage the drive but basically if you don't want to burn your house down spend the money and buy ...

Died, took parts with it

Ryan K., Newegg
2 January 2014
  • Pros: Worked for a year.
  • Cons: Died, took mobo with it. Can't even get spare PSU's to run the computer now. Smelled smoke and bam, out it all went. Really disappointed here. I built a computer for my fiance to play games on and it just cooked it.

Solid PSU

Caleb H., Newegg
2 October 2013
  • Summary: Did exactly what i wanted, but the in-box model offers only enough connections to run the bare essentials. If you plan on adding extras like a second HD, etc. you will need to figure out how the additional cables work.
  • Pros: Quiet. :Plug 'n play. Did exactly what I wanted. Comes with a bunch of extra connectors.
  • Cons: The extra connectors are not attached and.I have been unable to figure out how to attach them. The instruction manual offers 0 help. I just ordered a new GSU, so this will soon be an issue.
