Summary: This is a quality product with its nickel plated case and complete set of wires for any small computer application. The fact its got 300 watts is a bonus as these are hard to find in any wattage. My only complaint is that the fan is quite noisy and can be heard well over the cpu fan. It seems that the fan is running at top speed which is inappropriate for a small computer which is usually a home theatre and low power application.
Summary: Product was fine after I realized there was a problem with the cooling fan not spinning. It was actually the same problem as the OEM power supply in our security dvr. The cas was slightly concave on the top of the power supply causing the fan to bind and not spin which would have resulted in overheating and burn out. Easily rectified by prying up the center slightly allowing the fan to spin freely. Glad I had checked it before putting case back on DVR.
Summary: Used this PSU for a retro computer project, so I heavily modified it. It was easy to work on and I particularly like the size for this purpose. The fan noise is barely audible. Recommended on all levels!
Summary: This power supply was a replacement for a. HP computer with a small-sized power supply. This one was a bit smaller than I had expected. Not a problem for me. After making a bracket for it, it fits better than the original. Love it.
Summary: I ordered the wrong PS - does not fit the case or motherboard where it was supposed to go because of size and connectors. I decided to keep it and in the future make a lab power supply out of it. Coolmax usually makes excellent power supplies so I assume it works very well although I have not turned it on. Cannot fully rate it since I have never turned it on.
Summary: Being that finding a micro-ATX is becoming more difficult, this power supply was a perfect match for my system. High quality construction, bolted right in and fired up first time around. Ample connectors for all my hardware.
Summary: I (of coarse) didn't realize but this power supply is SMALLER then the normal power supply so it won't fit in my midtower. I'll probably use it as a backup. Other then that it seems to work well.
