  • Summary: Worked at first. Very noisy and the fan clicks and makes a weird droning noise that sounds like its dying. Will be returning mine.

  • Summary: Went in easily. Plenty of connectors. Fairly quiet. With the ventilation design should run cooler than most others. Recommend it.

Great price and High Wattage but fan is noisy

Blast,, TigerDirect.com
6 April 2014
  • Summary: This is a quality product with its nickel plated case and complete set of wires for any small computer application. The fact its got 300 watts is a bonus as these are hard to find in any wattage. My only complaint is that the fan is quite noisy and can be heard well over the cpu fan.

It's working as its descirption. But, it's very noisy. Definitely not recommended for HTPC users.

Charlie, Amazon
22 January 2014
  • Summary: I got this one alone with "Silverstone ML05B". My plan is to build HTPC for my living room. However, I just can't tolerate the noise of PSU's fan. It's just too crazily noisy. You are still be able to hear the noise over 3 meters away. It's working fine as it's designed to do.

Careful about the cooling fan

Doug G,, TigerDirect.com
25 November 2013
  • Summary: Product was fine after I realized there was a problem with the cooling fan not spinning. It was actually the same problem as the OEM power supply in our security dvr. The cas was slightly concave on the top of the power supply causing the fan to bind and not spin which would have resulted in...
