Summary: Shiny, 450Watts, has enough cables, dual 12V. Molex connectors have nice grips on them which makes disconnection easy. Runs my 6600 GT, P4 2.53, and 1024MB PC2100 RAM no problem. Runs fairly cool and the noise is about average, not too high. It gets the job done for me. Good sized powersupply for this price. Decent!
Summary: Had this power supply just over a month, and it completely died. I called the tech support number listed on this website and was told by the outgoing message that office hours are M-F, 8am-5pm (which time zone?). When I finally reached somebody, the told me that they could only assist via email. Now I'm waiting to see how long they will ignore my email.
Pros: Great price: was $15 after rebate. Molex connectors have nice grips on them (not pictured) that makes disconnection easy. Voltage seems to be relativley stable. It gets the job done for me. Noise is about average, not too high. But definatley not for a silent PC.
Cons: Quality: When I got this, it looked like it had been assembled entirely with a hammer. I suppose you get what you pay for. With the quality put into it, I wouldn't be suprised to see a decent number of bad/malfunctioning units out there. Also to point out what others are saying about cable length: they are on the short side. Basically the cables should have enough to reach anywhere on a standard mid-tower ATX case, except for the SATA cable. If you like to stick your ...
Pros: OK install, hooked up after some minor work.
Cons: Short wires. Was starting to wonder if they were TOO short for my mid-tower, but after streightening out the wires to get them as long as possible, everything connected up OK.Would not want them ANY shorter.
