Summary: This power supply is great for my beast of a PC. I have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5960X CPU @ 3.00GHz, overclocked to 4.00GHZ, Asus RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 S2011 Intel X99 DDR4 and Titan X Graphics card and it handles all this with ease and is quiet. I would recommend this power supply.
Summary: I'm currently waiting on a replacement since the new psu that shipped to me was inop out of the box. Currently using my 8 yr old thermalake psu to power my new build, while waiting on rma process. Will update later.
Pros: • looks sleek • shipped with more than enough cables
Summary: Worth the price. You are getting a repeatable companies PSU. Please do not cheap out on a power supply. It is the blood to your system.
Pros: This PSU was purchased back in 2013 to replace a dead PSU that had been running for many years. Love the modular design, and the ample slots and cables that come bundled together. Runs quite and cool. Currently powering an AMD FX-8350, Sapphire Vapor-x R9-290.
Cons: The only downside that I have experienced and it is not to do with anything on the manufacturers side, is the fan grill location. In my old mid-tower it was in the perfect spot. When I switched towers the PSU is mounted on the top on its side. Not allowing for the best air flow.
Summary: Can't believed it died after 2 months. Very disappointing. I guess I'll be out of commission for a while until Cooler Master help me out. Will report back on how the customer support process it.
Summary: I am/was a computer professional. I have personally built upwards of 100 PC's over the years. I have never had a name brand power supply just die on me like this one did.
Pros: Does it's job. No noise. No problems for 15 months.
Cons: Dropped dead after 15 months. No bad smell. No indication that anything was wrong. Tried turning my computer on one day and literally nothing happened. No fans; nothing. Replaced with a new unit (different brand) and everything is fine.
Summary: A bit expensive when it is not on sale, but it is a very solid power supply none the less.
Pros: I have had this power supply for about a year or so, and it has been a very solid modular power supply. It has a good power efficiently curve, and I am slightly surprised that it is not certified platinum but I doubt it really matters in the long run. It runs quiet, cool and efficient and I have ...
Cons: The only thing I would complain about is something another reviewer mentioned. Why this power supply has two 8pin CPU supplemental power connectors my model only came with one supplemental 8pin CPU connector. Not a deal breaker for me but it is kind of strange that it would come with two connecto...
