Failed on me and the replacement process stunk

Jonathan S., Newegg
  • Summary: If you have extra parts or backup PCs around, and you can survive without a PSU for a few days, then this isn't the worst option. But do not put it into a PC that is essential to your life/work.
  • Pros: It worked for 2.5 years. Seemed pretty quiet.
  • Cons: It failed after 2.5 years. I only have one computer in my house, which I use to take online classes (amongst other things). To get a warranty replacement, they required that send them the faulty part first, which would take shipping time plus 2-3 days to arrive and be processed. Then they claimed...

Too Much Fan Bearing Noise

Howell C., Newegg
4 November 2013
  • Pros: I have used it over 2 years. It has not failed.
  • Cons: The main reason I purchased this power supply is to get a low noise power supply. BUT, It make too much noise, from day 1. It is quiet enough until it reaches normal operating temperature, afterwards, it make a noise that sounds like ball bearings with no lubricate. I can hear it grinding 20 feet...

Disappointed

Josh K., Newegg
30 June 2012
  • Summary: I was very excited to get the new system up and running seeing as it is a new audio/studio build. I needed it this weekend for a project, but will have to put it off till issue is resolved.
  • Pros: Easy wire management. Looks good.
  • Cons: DOA. Just installed to a new system and no power. Triple checked everything and nothing. Very disappointing seeing as my tech guys at work gave the thumbs up on this one.

Very Disappointed

Nicholaus L., Newegg
28 June 2012
  • Summary: I should've went with more reliable maker of PSUs really disappointed right now. Save yourself the hassle and go with another brand.
  • Pros: Modular, not much else
  • Cons: Really disappointed with this PSU, I'm a first time PC Builder but after installing all my components and running a test boot... nothing. I'm going to get a second opinion pretty sure though this PSU is DOA very disappointed as of right now spending $1100 and having a faulty PSU unacceptable Cool...

Great power. Horrible connectors.

PiOfPie, Overclock
20 June 2012
  • Excerpt: I chose this power supply for my new FX rig, and now that installation is complete, I have to say that I'm very happy with the final product. This product has done well in tests performed by several of the more reputable PSU testing sites.

SATA connectors TERRIBLE

Geoffrey C., Newegg
27 April 2012
  • Summary: I am boycotting cooler master after the problems I've had with this thing.
  • Pros: Its modular. Price was good.
  • Cons: The sata ports are too small, almost broke my sata CDrom drive connector. Now I'm trying to get this thing on my very first SSD, and it refuses to slide on the sata connector. I feel if I push any harder I will break my drive. I never thought this would ever be an issue, and even If I read the re...
