Lasted 4 Years, great RMA

Nicholas H., Newegg
2 June 2015
  • Summary: While I am upset it died before it's time, I am happy with the RMA replacement they sent me. I would recommend and buy again.
  • Pros: Lasted a long time, was very quite and worked like a charm. RMA process was good, and they sent me back a better PSU since this one is no longer made.
  • Cons: Died at the 4 year mark and has 5 year warranty. Took about a month for the RMA to finish.

Does everything I have expected.

Striped S., Newegg
25 April 2014
  • Pros: Quiet
  • Cons: I took an egg off because the modular cables aren't appealing at all, they actually look pretty bad but I did get this $100 off so i'm not disappointed.

Still not dead

Richard N., Newegg
17 April 2014
  • Pros: Having owning this PSU for more than 2 years I can attest to it being a sturdy product. 1000w may be over kill but will never need to buy another PSU again.
  • Cons: Its big and heavy.

Shawn M., Newegg
3 January 2014
  • Pros: Module cables Gold standard
  • Cons: I bought the power supply 2 months ago. I replaced the motherboard thinking it was that found liquid on the motherboard. So I assumed it was the motherboard. It was this power supply. It turned on just fine except bulging caps in it said otherwise. Now I get a rma now the delivery date is delayed...

Nice PSU

Scott P., Newegg
27 November 2013
  • Summary: The unit comes with several heavy factory cables that are permanently attached to the PSU, these are good cables but they are VERY stiff. The additional cables that you can optionally plug into the PSU are much more flexible and easy to deal with.
  • Pros: Nice powerful and quiet unit. Appear to be well built and well packaged. Includes a lot of additional cables and accessories.
  • Cons: Only complaint I have is that I found one of the PCI power wire not fully locked into the connector which caused some frustration during installation. Once I got that identified and the pin fully seated and locked into the connector, unit did what it was supposed to do.

  • Pros: Is it silent? I don’t hear it. However, I have a case built with noise reduction in mind and there are five other fans that compete for my attention. All I can tell you is that I don’t hear this fan. I do believe that it is quieter than the average PSU though. When I turned on the PC with the cas...
