Great Modular PSU

Daniel H., Newegg
1 October 2013
  • Summary: great psu solid design truly modular and highly functional.
  • Pros: I really like this power supply. Simple design and easy to set up. Truly modular unlike many power supplies that have some modular and some cables non removable. Comes with a fan control unit. Cables were able to reach anything i needed them to in the very large cooler master cosmos II case.
  • Cons: no major cons. didnt really use the fan control unit part because it didnt seem to fit well on my cooler master cosmos II case. This i felt kind of strange since they both are cooler-master products....

Day # 3 and still nothing.. ????

Daniel L., Newegg
8 March 2013
  • Summary: I do not hold newegg at fault. This is a MFG defect. I can sy this. With the customer service, excuse me lack of, I will never own another cooler master product again. Between Case Cooler and Power Supply I spent almost $500. The fan controller is useless the case because of this really bothers me.
  • Pros: My pros will always be overshadowed by the fact cooler master can't fix this. Pros The case is awesome except below.
  • Cons: Great Idea except the bottom 3.5" Bay is useless. Nothing will snap tight like in all the other bays... I cannot fit my fan controller in. Cons- Cooler Master. ....Day # 3 and still nothing.. ???? Do I need to get a refund on all of this and go use thermaltake cases and power supplies and water c...

Great PSU

Titus S., Newegg
14 January 2013
  • Pros: I bought this be cause its a CM product and well can't go wrong with CM. I also bought this for the fan controler, it's modular, and to CrossFire two 7850's. Fan control works really nice, love the modular aspect, and has plenty of power.
  • Cons: none that I can think of

Fantastic Power Supply

Steven i., Newegg
3 January 2013
  • Summary: This unit finally fixed my crashing issues that were caused by an Ultra 800 unit that tested fine but could not provided correct amperage for the GTX 570.
  • Pros: Very quite operation. Power output is very stable from this unit even when under high load from an overclocked cpu with a GTX 570 that is overvolted. Fan controller is a nice touch, has 3 headers you can connect to on the controller that are adjustable as well as 2 more that are set to 7volts on ...
  • Cons: If you do not like bright blue LEDs you may need to cover it up on the controller.

reliable and quiet

Troy W., Newegg
28 December 2012
  • Summary: I think it would have been nicer to use sliders instead of dials for the speed controls.
  • Pros: comes with plenty of power cables, clean design, very stable and reliable PSU
  • Cons: the control panel for the drive bay was not the easiest to get into the system, but it does work at advertised.
