Solid for a mid-range PC build

Peter Leonard, Amazon
18 January 2015
  • Summary: I needed a cheap PSU but didn't want to go for something risky. This unit had some good reviews, so I went for it. IT has been flawless. No frills, nothing fancy, but it does what it is supposed to do. The fan is quiet too.

  • Summary: Even at idle in a well vented case this power supply spins up to full fan speed, then back to normal.... repeating every few mins. Either faulty or poor design, i'm returning for a refund and will pay more for a better quality one.

Great, except for the noise.

Chris, Amazon
23 November 2014
  • Summary: This PSU does the job very well. It does everything i needed from a PSU including connections like sata and molex, as well as actually providing power to key components. The ONLY problem I have and the reason for the 3 star is the noise.

You get what you pay for

David Wilkinson, Amazon
7 September 2014
  • Summary: You get what you pay for with power supplies and this one broke on me after a month. While it was working, the fan is incredibly noisy on the rare occasion it kicks on (I mean old-school vacuum cleaner noisy, though it is very rare it comes on) and there's a lot of cabling here you're going to have...
